Job Opportunity: Full-Time Temporary Joint-Office Administrator
The Town of Arborfield and the Rural Municipality of Arborfield #456 is seeking a temporary Administrator.
This position will be a 6–10 month term (depending on transition time and availability) to cover a maternity leave.
The Municipal Office is located in Arborfield, SK and is open Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm.
The Administrator reports directly to the separate Councils for the Rural Municipality of Arborfield No. 456 and Town of Arborfield and works cooperatively with Council and maintenance staff of both municipalities.
Both municipal offices have one experienced part-time assistant administrator that report to the Administrator.
Qualifications:
This position offers a competitive salary and benefits through SARM (shared by both municipalities).
Interested candidates are invited to submit a detailed resume including qualifications, past & present work experience and three work related references, by 3:00pm on January 30, 2025.

- The Rural Municipality of Arborfield No. 456 has a population of 338, and a total assessed value of 320,780,000.

- Must be qualified to work as Administrator in an Urban and a Rural municipality.
- Minimum Standard Certificate of qualification with UMAAS and
- Minimum Rural Class “C” certificate with RMAA.
- Experience in Municipal Administration
- Comprehension of accounting, administrative and clerical skills
- Experience with Munisoft computer software.
