Here is a few pictures of our trip to Sicamous B.C. on the Jan 8th weekend 2011. Approx 28 KM up on "Owl Head" in front of one of their warm up cabins.

Up on Owl's Head, past "Skinny Ridge" Richard Soucy enjoying the moment, the fresh snow, and at 80 years young, gained the respect of everyone on the "hill", including all the locals!

Finally made it to the top, tons of fresh snow, first ones up to warm up cabin on "Quest!" Just about a "White Out" that day, but with Don (Mr. T.) on the lead we were great. Last day of the holiday, back to reality tomorrow

Heading down off of "Hunters Range." Nice view, sun is going down, about -5 below.Got another 8 or so km down to the landing to trailer up and head into Sicamous. Hot tub is sure going to feel nice tonight after three days sledding! Everyone is heading back to "reality" tomorrow.
Words of the weekend: When in deep powder, your throttle is your best friend!
